If you live near Happy Wife Acres( 8600 Haddix Rd. Fairborn OH) and would like to earn free farm fresh eggs, then the Scraps for Eggs program is for you! You can also teach your children about recycling as they watch kitchen waste become food. The program is simple: you collect and bring us your kitchen scraps each week, and we give you a dozen farm fresh eggs. This is a recurring weekly commitment.
To be eligible, you must be able to fill a 5 gallon bucket nearly full of scraps each week, which is easy for average sized families that prepare meals at home. We will even provide the bucket! Chickens will eat almost everything you would normally throw away, like bread, vegetable peels, meat scraps, fruit, and those questionable leftovers in the refrigerator. To apply, please fill out the form below. Before submitting, you will need to review the Agreement Terms. Once you have been accepted, we will contact you to pick up the provided bucket. When you are no longer participating in the program, the bucket must be returned to Happy Wife Acres.
