Meat Order Form

Use this form to order processed and packaged chicken and quail. Meat is typically sold out within a few days of processing, so don’t delay ordering. Due to availability, we may only be able to fulfill part of your order. If you want to order more than the quantity maximums on the form, please write in the comments. Depending on when you pick up, your order may be frozen in freezer-safe shrink bags. Please read the descriptions carefully of each type of bird. You must pick up at Happy Wife Acres, 8600 Haddix Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324. WE DO NOT SHIP and WE DO NOT SELL LIVE CHICKENS.

$5.50/lb. Young Roosters are under 6 months old. They are tender and tasty. These are heritage chickens, NOT Cornish Cross like you find in the grocery store. They are sometimes called “Hard Chicken” or “Country Chicken”. They have less breast meat but much more flavor. Roosters are packaged whole in freezer safe shrink bags and may be frozen. WE DO NOT SELL LIVE CHICKENS.
$5.50/lb. Old Hens are typically 3-4 years old. Their meat is tough but packed with flavor. Old Hens make excellent broth and meat for soups and stews. Old Hens are packaged whole in freezer safe shrink bags and may be frozen. WE DO NOT SELL LIVE CHICKENS.
$15 per package of 4 quail. Quail meat is dark and delicious! They can be grilled, baked, simmered, fried, or stewed, and absorb the flavors of marinades very well. Quail are packaged in freezer safe shrink bags and frozen.
Tell us if you need more that the maximum order, or if you want meat on a recurring basis. We process about once per month.
